About the Trojans Youth Baseball Club
The official feeder club for Iowa City West Baseball.
The Iowa City Trojans Youth Baseball Club is a non-profit organization founded in 2003 with a mission to provide young boys and men the opportunity to learn the game of baseball in a fun and healthy environment that will better prepare them for participation in high school baseball.
Our mission will be accomplished by:
Promoting positive sportsmanship, teamwork, and fair play
Providing positive role models as coaches and instructors
Helping kids develop a passion for playing the game of baseball.
Developing teams that can compete at the local, state, and regional levels
It is the goal of Trojans Youth Baseball to field at least two teams at each age group, one with a more competitive focus and one with a player development focus. This, however, is dependent on the number of players at each age group that join the club. The Trojans Youth Baseball Club is open to participants from any school, but preference will be given to those attending West High feeder schools.
Trojans Youth Baseball wants all kids to have access if they are interested in playing baseball. Please contact us at ictrojanbaseball@gmail.com to inquire about payment plans and financial assistance.
